Weight Loss Help For The Obese

It’s truly a very sad epidemic in the United States which has been, and is still on the rise with no end in sight. Every year the statistics go up. In the early part of the 1900′s there were virtually no obese people here and being fat was pretty rare too.

Today the shocking statistic is that obesity’s biggest growing group is children 12 and under.

many people blame it on different things like heredity and metabolism. Well, you can stop blaming your parents for their genes because you get your features and structure from them but not all that fat, sorry.

Metabolism on the other hand is very responsible but how does it work and what can we do about it?

If you are fat, you have a slow metabolism. The good news it doesn’t have to stay that way. There are things you can do to speed up your body’s metabolic rate and the most  important place to star is with your food.

Your crappy diet is the reason because you are eating far too many high processed foods. These foods contain only calories and very few nutrients so they fill you for a very short period, supply your biddy with next to nothing in nutritional value and a short time later you’re hungry again.

What are these processed foods?

Packaged foods from the supermarket are prepared using hydrogenated oils which contain the disease causing, weight-gaining and dangerous trans fats. These are clogging up your system and over taxing major organs such as the heart, liver, and pancreas. They also clog the colon, making metabolic rate difficult to ever increase.

White flour clogs your system and is used in many foods you may be eating, like bread, pizza, pastries, crackers.

As a general rule, switch from white foods to brown foods; brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole grain breads etc.

Here’s some good news; if you follow this process, you will be able to eat more food than before and still lose weight!

As you eliminate more processed foods, start adding wholesome ones, rich with the nutrients your body needs to help you lose weight. What are these foods? Fresh vegetables and a large variety of fresh fruits. Again, not canned fruit salad, which is preserved and contains large amounts of refined sugar.

Remember, the only way to increase your slow metabolism is to get off high processed foods and start putting quality nutrients into your body. The human body can heal itself, if given the proper nutrients it needs to do so, and that includes burning off excess fat.
